Hey,
For all of you who read my previous messages...

I had a problem with my ball python not eating for 4 months. Well I have been feeding her for the past couple weeks but I have never actually seen her eat because she wouldnt eat with people in the room. I have now found out that I need to just drop the rat in the cage and let her come out of her hiding spot herself. I was peering around the corner for about 5 minutes before I saw her head poke out and BAM! The rat was caught and she devoured it within 5 minutes after that! I was so excited and it is a sigh of relief to know that she is actually eating. Thanks so much for all of your tips.

Yes I am feeding it in the cage it lives in... this is because this is how the previous owners have done it. I feed my boa in a box. I can put my snakes head in my mouth. This snake is very tame and has never bit me in the time that I have had it. I had a python that continuously bit me and traded it in for this one because it was so tame. Its a full grown snake almost 4 and a half feet. But this snake will not eat if you disturb it first. So I would rather feed it in the tank, than it not eat at all.
