I am new to this forum. I have 6 bearded dragons w/30 eggs in an incubator. No collards-yet. I visited one of our local pet stores this weekend and they had just gotten 3 collard lizards in: two females and a male. This female has a very plump belly. It felt squishy, not lumpy. Is it a good possibility that she is gravid, or might it be parasites? My husband said that I could get a pair if they are healthy. They are selling them for $30 each. Is that a good price for them? a rather low price? Any feedback will be appreciated.

Hey how are ya, the female your holding looks very gravid, the orange bars on her are a sign she is, and they usually dont feel hard, they have a heavy kind of feeling but feel soft in the body or at least not hard. As far a 30 dollars, they vary, some are less, some a great deal more, if they have nice color and appear to be healthy and you want them then thats a good price LOL :0) Wish ya alot of luck if you decide to get them they are cool and I have a beardie too, but these little guys run circles around beardies as far as being Super Duper active, very fun to watch !
