Beardies eating habits

newguy598 May 07, 2005 12:00 PM

I'm having trouble getting my beardie to eat her veggies. She will only eat pieces of fruit if offered but other than that it's strictly crickets. I would love some help/ideas on how to get her to eat her veggies.

If she likes fruit, you could mix small pieces of fruit in her salad. Also you can drop the crickets (if bigger than a 1/4", pinch their legs so they can't jump out of the container, ontop of your salad. If your dragon is old enough you can always drop superworms into the salad as well. Silkworms are also a great insect to toss in salads as well.
