sorry

sorry everyone about putting my site at the bottom of the posts, it was not intended as advertising. i simply feel convicted about it and will remove it. i don't do it to advertise, i do that above in the sponsorship section.

again, it won't be there anymore.

i just really get annoyed by people that come here to advertise and i refuse to be one of them.

about monitors, i picked up a male flavi/argus cross, it is great. i should have listened to frank a few years ago about them, they certainly are cool monitors.

Doesnt Robyn from you know where(I promised not to mention names for these matters) do that, as well as many others?

i don't know whether or not robyn comes here to advertise, but there are those who do and i just don't want to come across as one.

I am guilty of the same thing, although I never really thought about it. When I first came here, I noticed it on some other posts. There was always a spot for a link on the posting form, so once my site was up and running, I did the same thing. The fact that I was advertising through the forum was brought to my attention yesterday. I will as well leave my link off of my posts from now on. Sorry to all those who took offense or felt like I was intentionally advertising.

If the site has some useful information (caresheets, pics, ect), then i'd prefer to have it posted. Not only does it add some credibility to the person who is commenting, it also gives people more of an opportunity to do some research before they jump into anything. Just my 2 cents.

I contacted Andrew privatly, however there seems to be some general confusion. I have snipped the portion of the TOS dealing with this issue.

You may include a link to your website in your signature, even if it is a commercial website. You may also include a small logo image for your business as part of your signature. However, you may not include specific items for sale, prices, advertising slogans, or any other text or images that would be considered commercial.

So yes, links to your website (as long as the site itself does not violate TOS such as porn or forced downloads) and even your logo is a perfectly fine thing to post.

If you have further questions on this, please do not hesitate to contact me.
