I have had my flapneck chameleon for about a month now. I was told that it was a girl....but not I am not so sure.
She/he...is (with tail streched out) about 6-7 inches long.

I put 3-4 small to medium crickets in her cage each day after I mist her...then I go to work for 8 hours. When I get home there is usually 1 or 2 crickets left. Does this mean she is eating enough?? They will crawl right by her and she wont eat them. She doensnt seem really thin or anything but I am just not sure how much they are supposed to eat.
I give her one mealworm about every 2-3 days. I was told not to feed them too many mealworms or they womt eat crickts.

The other thing is her drinking.. I have never seen her drink...but I have seen her sit on a branch and let the dripper water fall on her.
When I mist her she runs away...then when she finds a good spot sits there and opens and closes her mouth(but doesnt look like she is getting any water IN her mouth. She doesnt look dehydrated but should I be worried???????

Can somone please help me..

aslo....
was told my flapneck is a girl...but after doing a little bit of reading I found a site that said the colour of thier throut stripes(you know when they puff it up and you see stripes) White for girls and Orange for guys
