Gecko urination question

We have just bought our first crested gecko and are having a bit of a problem. It urinates whenever it is handled by my wife (this happened 3 times in 5 days). But it never happened when I was handeling it. Any insight on the seriousness of this problem or any solution would be greatly appreciated.
