kungfu28181 Aug 09, 2003 01:20 PM

My neighbors went to Mexico and a gecko hitched a ride on their trailer back here to california. They gave the gecko to me. I have some questions:

What kind is it?
What does it eat?
How should its tank look like?
What does it eat?

Click on the below HERE and then click on the bearded dragon folder and their are 2 pics of the gecko.

It is likely from the genus Sphaerodactylus or Gonatodes. It is definately a diurnal species, so provide lighting. I would give it a hide or two, a basking spot with a low wattage bulb, light mistings 2 times a day. Try feeding appropriately sized crickets (dusted).
good luck
