i suspect it's just a dark normal leopard gecko. the faint stripe is nice but doesn't seem to have the characteristics associated with an actual 'striped' gecko, which has two darker stripes to either side of the light colored one. the darker body color is not as normal, but i don't think it's as unusual to warrent calling the leopard anything other than normal.

i found another site with describes all the morphs of leopard geckos, no pictures of them all but the descriptions are pretty good. i will include it here for you to look over.

when its dark like that, try increasing the humidity. It could be too dry and having a hard time shedding. Do you have a humid hide? Tupperware with lid with small entrance hole filled with peatmoss, sphagum moss, or papertowel. It is very important to have it to help your gecko shed.

Yeah, I take good care of my babies. Apparently he's melanistic. I picked up the leopard gecko manual by Phillip de Vosijlshfdlsf, and I found a picture of one in there that looked just like him
thanks for the opinions
