First Hatchling!

Hey All. I have successfully hatched out my first reptile ever! It is a very cute crested gecko It is much bigger than I thought it would be but oh so cute!

Congratulations! It is always so exciting when they start to hatch. I am waiting for mine to start from this years breeding and they are at days 96 and 100!

That seems like a long time for incubation for crested geckos (unless you have other kinds of geckos), average incubation is 65-75 days. I am deffinitely very excited about having my first reptiles successfully hatch.

Congrats with the hatchlings, hey did you say you were going to the reptile expo as a vendor? Which vendor are you working with?

I incubate my eggs at room temperature (in the basement) so the temp fluctuates from 65 to 70 giving quite a long incubating time. Actually, if you could see the hatchlings that go that long, they tend to be so much bigger and hardier....... (that is my experience anyways)
