Anyone go to the reptile expo on Sunday? If so, what did you pick up?
i got two more baby pictus geckos, an xanthic striped and a striped from geckoboy, aka Nathan Greenwood, and i also got a male leo albino tremper from reptile kings. But i bought lots of food, mealworms, crickets, silkworms and butterworms, i could have bought another gecko with the money i spent on food. HA june expo though im bring 800$ next time. I really like the ackies monitor they had. I hope nobody got them yet.

Do you go to a lot of reptile shows? If so, how did this one compare? I was hoping to see more gargoyles there, but otherwise I thought there was a decent selection. I haven't been to one in years though, so I wasn't sure what to expect.
I had planned on going, but plan fell through. Next show is a two day event which is a first for the Toronto expo. I am hoping to have a table there to sell my baby crested geckos and other stuff. Not sure if i will be there for the whole two days or just one day (or if it's even posible to just have a one day table). Finances are a little tight right now so trying not to buy any more reptiles. As it is, I keep being given free animals which has increased my collection in areas i had not planned on expanding...but I do need to get more gargoyles myself.
everytime i go to the reptile expos im pressed for time so im usually there only for an hour. Barely have time to converse with anybody. Anyways, i thought the bug collection was really cool, i would have picked some up if i had more money. The selection was alright, i saw a lot more snakes being sold than before. But overall it was pretty good, in june i hope im able to take my time and go through all the vendors. Usually i just go find the vendor who i reserved some animals with and then get my animals and leave. But i want to change that because its great meeting breeders.

I know what you mean about pressed for time. I was only there for an hour myself - a quick look around before I picked up a couple of gargoyles. I hope I can make it to the show in June.
By any chance, did you get a gargoyle from Clint? He's a real great guy! You should of stopped by and said hello to me.
(I had no gargoyles, so this was not a sales pitch)
It is nice to put a face with a name, hopefully in June you can.
Actually, June's reptile show is only a one day event. Grant changed it back to a one day in June as well as the September's show.
Betty
WHy's that? I was looking forward to a two day show.

Hi Betty! Yes, I bought both of the gargoyles Clint had for sale. I really wanted one striped, and one reticulated - and thats exactly what he had!
I didn't see any other gargoyles there. Did you notice any?
If I go to the show in June, I'll let you know ahead of time, and I'll be sure to stop and say hi.
