fire bellied toad questions

Croc_121 Aug 16, 2003 01:07 AM

hi I just had a few questions to ask involving the keeping of fire bellied toads, 1) what are some good plants for the land part of the setup? 2) do I need a heater for the water area? judging by different websites its cotreversial. 3) can both kinds of fire bellied toads be kept together? I would also like to mention that my last ADF died a few days ago , thanks for any info in advanced.

Hello,

- Pothos is a good plant that should work well, on land, and in water.

- You do not need a water heater for your fbt's tank

- What other species of firebellied toad are you talking about?
If your talking about yellow bellied toads, I'd say probably know. I've also heard of Giant fbt's)?) and if thats what your talking about,......no. They'll probably try to eat the smaller fbts.
