red eyed question??

Hey guys,
A buddy of mine is interested in getting some RETF this weekend at a herp show. He has the perfect set for them. His aquarium is 50 gallons and pretty high. Ive read that red eyes do better in colonies. How many can you put in a tank this size? Just curious,

I would say no more than 4 or 5, because they can be fairly active frogs.
