Need some help findng cork tiles or panels for a background

draco_122474 May 11, 2004 03:29 PM

Hey,

If anybody could help me with finding cork tiles or the really flat cork panels to use as a background (not regular cork pieces). I would appreciate it. By the way thanks for the tips from my last question about how to find moss. Found some and my terrarium is looking great.

You can get cork tiles at Home Depot.

Really? Home depot? are they the naturea looking cork pannels or the chopped up clean looking ones? can you use those in a viv?

Art Knapps carries moss.

If you have time, a great solution can be found at your local nursery. They are big chips of bark, and are very inexpensive. I just siliconed mine to the back of the tank, and used club moss to fill in the gaps. It took 1.5 hours to do, though, so if your on a time limit, I dont recommend this. It looks stunning. I will provide a picture of my background a soon as I load them up.
