Frog Identification

madmattunipro Dec 08, 2004 10:41 PM

I am wondering if anyone may have any idea as to the identification of a frog I obtained a few years ago. The store we got it from had recieved it with a shipment of green treefrogs so I got it for about $10.

It was about an inch and a quarter long, It's back was chocolate brown with randomly placed red flecks. It had orange feet and a yellow underside(I don't have any pictures). I suppose my caging setup was not very good for it because it didn't last too long.

If you have any speculation as to what this frog was, I would appriciate it.

Spent awhile researching what this frog could be, but coudln't find any that match the description. A picture would be much easier to identify. It may be a dart frog of some sort or other small tree frog. Sorry couldn't be any better help. Maybe try going through the frogs in the photo gallery till you find one that looks something like what you had.
