Hey everyone. I have three newts that i bought on seperate occasions (bought the first two about two years ago and the third about six months ago). When i bought them i was told that both sets were firebellied newts. However, my first set were quite small (about one and 3/4 inches) with red patterned stomachs and the third is a lot larger (about four and 1/4 inches) with significantly more defined ridges along his back (no crested fins or anything, just bumpy ridges). I was wondering if anoyne would liek to shed some light on my situation.
Oh , two more things. Whats the optimim water temp for newts and does anyone know of any good quality rep/amphib stores in the Toronto area aside form the standard big pet stores? Thx alot for anyones help
