Where can I find newts in Toronto?

Don't know of any newt breeders off hand in Toronto but there is a reptile show in Mississauga in April where in the past I saw a few newts available. For more info about the Reptile Expo, their website is: www.reptileexpo.ca

You could also do a search for Toronto Reptile or Amphibian clubs/associations. There is bound to be at least one in the GTA. Most likely any area petstore will have fire belly newts at least, though whether these are imports or from breeders, I don't know. Most likely farmed imports but I am only guessing. You can ask local petstore owners where they get their newts. It is always possible they are buying them from local breeders.
