Hey guys i was wondering if anyone could give me
their opinion on my situation i was wondering
if it would be a bad idea to keep my egyptian Toad
and my indonesian Toad in the same terrerium?

im thinking maybe the egyptian toad might be more toxic
then the indonesian?

and also does anyone else own an egyptian or indonesian toad?

i keep all my other frogs in seperate terriums.

I suggestion don't keep them together. I don't think it's just a matter of toxically but the toad's care requirements could be different, may not like the presence of other toads etc. Unless you know for sure via research these two toads are quite happy living in the same cage, keep them separate. The fact they are from two different parts of the world, is a pretty good indicator they shouldn't be housed together.

All that said, I have no experience with either species of toad but the general rule is don't keep mixed species together. Vivarium setups can be made with mixed species but careful consideration must be taken on what to put into it. Environmental needs, activity times, comfort with other species, aggression and shyness etc.

yea i kindda figure since one is asian and the other is egyptian
plus i noticed the indonesian wasnt too happy when i tested
it out he kept grunting at the egyptian. so anyways i have them
in seperate terreriums so everything is cool i guess.

i dont know anyone else with the types of frogs that i have.
i hope to meet some other people on here who live
in my area with the various other species of frog and toad i have.

So far I haven't heard of anybody else having these kinds of frogs in Canada. One thing you could do is try and find out if there are any reptile groups or clubs in your area. A google search on 'retile clubs in ' can bring some interesting results, especialy if you live in a fairly large town or city. Nearby large cities may have reptile groups if you don't. Checking out the 'Events' link above also will list reptile shows that could be in your area. These places often have one or more reptile organization/rescue participating.

I do know somebody who has a Marine (Cane) Toad as a pet but that is about the only person I know in my area who has toads, that I can remember anyway.
