I've been working on this one for about a month and a half from time to time. Here's the info

7 feet long
2 feet wide
20" tall

using two 36" flourescent tubes with reptile bulbs (uv 5.0)
one 12" heat dome with a 75 watt red heat bulb (might add another one for a larger area)

Is that all enclosed?? If so, I'd maybe make a few changes to allow more ventilation.. You will run into problems with your tortoises respritory system with that enclosure...You should also provide a water bowl and hide spot for the tortoise.

First, the entire lid is 1/4 inch hardware cloth, with overhead fan for extra ventilation, second-take a look in the corner (sure looks like a water dish to me) and last the hide was taken out just for the photo.

Thanks for the input, but it seems like everytime someone posts a pic, someone else has to have negative remarks.....

And Matt just a question, Do you live in Peterborough?

Also, people that notice if something is wrong in a photo are more trying to educate the one who posts...There is a substantial amount of people out there who have no idea what they ae doing with alot of the animals they get and most end up dieing as a result. I think it's great when people critisize pictures.. as long as they don't give out false information.

Hey I"m no-one, I like to keep somewhat anonymous, but the big display enclosure you used to have with your torts in sure didn't have adequate ventilation last time I checked...As a mater of fact 80% of the enclosures I saw of yours didn't! Mind you this was at least a year ago or more when I saw them so I'm sure you've corrected that since you're critisizing others about the same now...

To answer a little bit more of who I am for you. Last time I was up there we had a chat about business when I was visiting a good friend of mine in Peterborough..But don't worry I've got no need to come back up that way anymore.......

Just out of curiosity though, how is business lately....should be picking up for xmas soon.

You must be speaking of the petstore as I did not have any tortoises over a year ago..I dont own the store,so I dont exactly get to make all of the designs for cages..I also dont know that Ive ever spoken business with anyone,are you sure you're not mistaking me for ben??
