maybe 2-4 months old

From 1 week to 6 months, who knows after all you dont know its history from Africa to your possession. In the wild they reach an average 13 inches in one year. In captivity they can be 34
inches in a year. Most monitors are stuffed into bags and stored in boxes for months until the collector has enough of them to sell them for money, then the importer stores them just as bad if not worse for weeks or months until their are sold, truelly sad for a $5 dollar lizard (to the petstore). If a 20 ft rock python is worth $20 to a collector for skin, then whats a baby bosc worth? Very little.
Good luck they are neat captives
