Sick Red Eared Slider

Hi, please advise if you can... One of my turtles (in glass aquarium)has been quite lethargic lately. She's not been eating for the past few days and she keeps her eyes closed. haven't noticed any deposit on eyes, just closed eyelids. Unfortunately our vets do not treat turtles. Guy at the aquapet shop advised myxazin in the water but i am not sure this will work cos there's not obvious signs of disease on Freckle. Could she be depressed? She has 3 friends with her in the aquarium and they all seem to be full of vitality! Please help!!! Thanking you.

It's been a few years since I had RES's, but I had them for a dozen years and dealt with many many problems with success.
Are there cool drafts, is he in the basement or near a door? Does he have a dry basking spot with a spotlight? Is the water heated to the correct temp? Is the water cleaned frequently?
Usually one will get sick before the others so it's something you should look into immediately.
You're sure there are no vets? How about a bird vet? Ask at the petstore, herp club or at another regular vet for a referral.
I don't know the medicine that your petstore reccomends but your pet is showing symptoms of illness so it is worth researching the chemical and even experimenting if it sounds ok.
I found warming the water a few degrees more than normal helped, along with good food (goldfish).

Thank you very much for your advice. Started to treat water with the myxazin. Seems that it can't do any harm. She's opened her eyes for a while today and seems to be more alert than previous days.
Yes, alas no vet treats turtles in this part of the world. Hopefully it'll change in the coming years. Again, thanks a lot for replying to my desperate call...
