My son's redfoot recently started digging and burrying herself in the ground. She is 2 yrs old and we thinks shes a female. We have only one turtle.

Questions:
1. Is there anything I need to be concerned about with this behavior? I've heard of some reptiles like Iguanas needing a change of diet.

2. Is she old enough to lay fertile eggs?
