Hello...

On December 8, 2003, I purchased two Typhlonectes Natans (A.K.A. Rubber Worms / Eels, Caecilians) from the Petland REGENT store... turns out my two are MALE... still have 'em... they have grown 50% or more!

For those who have no idea of what I am speaking of, go to www.caecilian.org to see more info. These guys are aquatic amphibians which live in community setup.

I wish I bought more but I am surprised I even bought two considering they were $37.99 EACH... but now Chris Biggs (Petland Regent) and Kurt Schmidtke (Petland Pembina) are unable to get 'em in stock. They are on some anti-export list and cannot be exported from South America any longer.

Below Water (Oliver Lucanus) in Montreal says he can get them but needs minimum order of 400 speciments to "make it worth it."

Since I won't be seeing these in the stores again, did anyone on this board, or someone they know, purchase any of the ones from either Regent or Pembina? If so, would you be interested in selling them, if they are FEMALE!? I would pay FULL PRICE ($37.99 each) assuming yours are in good health.

Any help on this is appreciated.

Cheers!
