EDMONTON SUN (Alberta) 05 March 06 Gator Aid
A Russian's pet alligator attacked him when he showed it off to friends at a boozy office party.
Anton Skvortsov, 35, kept his gator in a cage in his office in Moscow.
After drinking with colleagues, he decided to open the cage to feed the animal by hand. There was no word on the critter's size.
"We had all had dinner and I thought my beautiful Musya should have some as well,'' Skvortsov said. But the gator turned and clamped its jaws down on his hand.
Friends managed to hit the critter with chairs, shocking it, and then took Skvortsov to hospital.
"He's lucky to be alive,'' a hospital spokesman said.
Yup. There's a gator in every office.
