If the snake knows the prey is small enough, they don't care which way it goes down. That is a sign that you can give your corn bigger food now though.
Oh good! But about the smaller prey...I just bumped him up to big pinkies...the next step is fuzzies...are you sure he should have those?? He's only about 6 weeks old. Just over a foot I think. The one I gave him just now was almost 1 1/2 times his thickest girth. Thanks for your fast response though... I was so scared! I'm terrified of hurting the little guy.
Thanks again!
Kristine
Well, if it's already 1 1/2 times his girth, then it's the right size. He's just an agressive eater and that's a good thing!! LOL! It wont hurt to give him two, if he still seems to be hungry though.
I have one baby I hatched that's almost 8 weeks old and has had to be force-fed twice now. She won't eat on her own. I'd rather have your problem! LOL!
I'm so relieved...it's nice to know that I can get quick help when I really need it...you have no idea how much your response is appreciated. Have a great weekend!

then I would suggest reverting back to two of the smaller sized ones for a few feedings before feeding two of the larger size he is presently eating. You don't want to stress his capacity and possibly cause a regurge.
