albino balls

spagel Aug 08, 2004 09:57 AM

Hi everybody,
after being away from the hobby for a few years I now finally have time to get back into the hobby again.
Apart from the fact that I have around 30 leopard geckos at present, I had snakes for the last 15 years. A lot of my snakes have died due to old age, as I used to adopt unwanted pets a lot of which were already a few years old when I got them.
I am now left with my last two ball pythons, one of which I adopted at the age of 5 and is now 12 and the other one is over 18 but could be much older. He came from a pet shop in Germany and was wild caught. He was fully grown with loads of scars, that was 15 years ago...
I have always been dreaming about ball python morps. Ball pythons have always been my favourites and my future plan is to keep only balls. When I first looked at albinos (apart from high yellows the only available morph back then) they were $50.000 each. I am still to discover the new variety of morphs but an albino is still on my "wanted" list. I presume the price has fallen since then.
I would be grateful if people could point me into the right direction where to find high quality morphs at reasonable prices.
I have 5 empty setups at present, all fully equipt and set up as tropical tanks, and I would love to see a few little balls moving in. I am open to all morphs.
Thanks very much.
Stef
