Help! baby spotted phyton!!!

andrewchf Dec 07, 2004 04:46 PM

i just bought a pair of 5 months old baby spotted phyton a week ago. the female has mice every 4 days but the male has not been eating for 10 days!

today i check on them, the color of the male is fading. i'm so worried. could it be sick?

i thought spotted phyton is easy to feed and handle, but both of mine are so agrressive. they strike and bite a lot! is there a way to calm them or at least let them know i'm their owner?

some one please help!!!!

baby spotteds can be snappy but they will eventually calm down.

i would also say you have only had them a week, so give them time to settle in before offering more food, you may be just stressing them out.

if the male is not feeding and his colour appears different he could be shedding
