I recently bought a King Snake and I am a bit worried about the humidity level in the tank. I fist had cedar chips for substrate but was told that it can be toxic, I don’t know if this is true or not but I didn't want to risk it. So I replaced the substrate with Repti Bark. As soon as I used this I noticed the humidity level rise. It is between 70-80%, is this too high for a king snake and if so how would I reduce it. The snake seems to be ok, very lively and active. Any advise would be really appreciated.
