Brumating Dragon in tha UK..?

shredder Jul 12, 2004 08:24 AM

hey all...
just a couple of small queries...
With all the bad weather we've been having in the UK lately, Stinky the Dragon seems to be trying to Brumate... is this happening to anyone else? He's eating crix and wax worms like he always does... with great gusto! - although I do have to feed him by hand, as he's never been that into chasing them around his tank... just stands in the middle of them eating the odd one now and then... he could have a cricket stood on his head and he wouldn't even notice it... maybe he's got bad eyesight, or perhaps he's just lazy!
Anyway... he won't stay up the warm end of his tank for long (temp: 105), and just hangs onto a piece of cork bark down the cooler end (temp: 90). He rarely touches his greens (green cabbage, kale, carrots, brocolli etc...), and only ventures into the hot end after i've had him out and put him there.
I don't get it... he looks healthy, good fat tail, bright eyes etc.

any help/advice gratefully recieved... so thanks in advance

rors, archie an' stinky the dragon :0)
