They put out a lot of white light on the road. But Some people mistake them for high beams. They are not brighter and they are DOT approved, but because they have a white (not yellowed) output it seems to confuse the simpler folk.

But on the plus side the white light makes it much easier to see things in the road that are not road in my opinion.

I wish they made them for a 1994 Chevy Blazer,...........but they don't. For those of you who are counting.............374,000 miles of pure road cruising pleasure and more to come in 2007!

Wayne you ol' dog. I can't believe you are going to risk the family again in that thing. Remind me not to ride with you to crosby's... Seriously though, if you can't use the silver stars try some of the more violet colored lights. They don't look violet on the road but the bulbs themselves are slightly violet in color. I actually like these better than silverstars and they only cost 9.99 each. (O'Reilly auto) Unlike silverstars at 20 something dollars each. They make it easier for my eyes to determine depth on the road.

Also are you able to run both your hi's and low's at the same time? I can... See if you can wire this up if possible.
Good luck this year. I think we have already started this year off with some much needed rain. Keep dancing everyone, we need a lot more rain by May...

Best Wishes,

Steven

The day you have to retire that CRV and get a new vehicle may be a sad sad day... I have only seen that on your Honda and some older (mid 90's - and the lights sucked no matter what) cars.
I really want to see the car salespersons face when you ask them about running your high and low beams at the same time with a pink eraser

or when you show up after dark to test drive and then tell them you will be gone for a half hour or so to test the lights.LOL..

the only thing missing is the pointer sisters playing "Im So Excited!" and wayne with some white loafers, sandwich basket and an Alterna in his hand dancing away. Oh yeah, and a red ferrari, also missing a red ferrari.

Anyway Yep, I will be testing my new vehicle at night before i purchase it. That is FOR SURE!

Best Wishes,

Steven

Risk the family? It's really not that bad!!! REALLY!! Kim likes taking the family van when we all go anyway. Theres more room. I have the extra driving lights on the Blazer so the brights plus the driving lights are fine, just the others you all talk about are much better I think.

No need for tools guys,...........I'll have my own! Do you know anyone that wants to buy a gas sucking Yukon???? I have been driving the Blazer again since I repoed it a year or so ago. Can't afford the gas in the Yukon. It's O.K. You guys keep laughing. It will never go away, because when it does die, (after my 500,000 mile goal is reached) I am going to make a BBQ pit out of it and plant it right next to the 277 rest area,..........along with Hollisters pewter statue. We all can cook a pig or something. Shannon, you will not have any work to do in the parking lot as when I do go out West, my baby will be in tip-top shape. It's all good. Also for your information, (since you failed to show), it was able to make it all the way to Florida for the EXPO in August. Don't ask what all I had to do to it before I could come back! Take it easy guys!

Wayne

PS. Did I mention I got it painted a true Aggie maroon?

shannon brown Jan 09, 2007 08:55 PM

LOL.....Dude thats great.I would love to see it frying on the side of 277.

Yes,I remember you driving it to Daytona also.Didn't you get in a reck going there????LOL..

NO NO NO!!! That was my Yukon. I couldn't be so lucky and WRECK the blazer like that! (that will be WRECK with a W by the way

Couldn't you see all the herpers at the rest area flipping burgers where the engine used to be, and waiting for dusk? This should be at least 3-4 years in coming. It should take me that long to rack up the remaining mileage. See ya!!
