We brought the new guy (or gal) home over the weekend. He seems to be healthy and happy now, but looks like he had a rough time of it at some point, with some damage to the plastron, an area of the carapace that looks slightly dented in, and a missing nail. However, that damage all looks well healed and old. He has gorgeous coloring and is a little pig.

He's about an inch longer than the one at home (named Mylo but now being reconsidered as Mimm) and has a taller shell so he seems even larger than he actually is. I can't believe the difference in their shells for such a small size difference! I can't wait for a side-by-side pic, but they are being kept at different houses right now during the quarantine period. We can't wait to introduce them!

Now we just have to think of a name!
