One of the best incubators for breeders that are not hatching dozens of eggs each season is the hovabator. I find mine at the local feed store for about $35. Any other setup will probably cost more than this to build.
One setup I found that was interesting is using an aquarium, with a few bricks placed in it that just stick out over the water. Place an aquarium heater in the setup. Add a glass top to keep the heat in and you are set.
Test to get the right temperature. Once established, you can just add the egg container.

To transport, first place in the container you plan on incubating the eggs in- deli cup with vermiculite or perlite half filled. Transport in an insulated box so the temperature doesn't fall too low.

You should also research the net to get more details on the process.

Good Luck.
