Discoid roaches are easy to breed. What kind of monitor? Roaches are really only 'useful' for young midsize monitors. They have a very limitied utility for working with monitors, at least what I found. Crickets and rodents are the only long time realistic way to go.

IN MY EXPERIENCE WITH MY WATER SUPER WORMS HAVE WORKED FOR ME. THEY ARE EASY FOR THE MONITOR TO DIGEST AND THEY HAVE TONS OF PROTEIN. I JUST DUST THEM WITH REPCAL CALCIUM AND MULTI VITAMINS AND PUT THEM IN A BOWL IN HIS CAGE.
