Well, you didn't tell me the whole story. I understand about the clear cutting deal. Around here though, it's all this big rush to dig up the ground as quickly as possible, rape 2 ft thick coal seam, and cover it back up only to have it look like a bomb blew up.
It's sad sometimes what people will do not knowing any better. To me, I don't see how a corn snake even resembles a copper-head. At least the copper-heads we have around here. I have people in my family that will blindly chop up a 6 ft black "chicken" snake out of fear and ignorance, and it makes me cringe. Now, they've gotten to the point that they'll watch the snake and call me, and I'll remove it from their property and relocate it to my house out in the country where the snake can run free and have lots of mice to eat in my barn.
I hope that she makes you a good pet, she sure is beautiful. I wouldn't mind having one of the babies.
Always did fancy the wild morphs myself as well. Too bad we don't have corn snakes in Southwestern Indiana.
Good luck with her, and I'm glad you weren't offended by my post. After I'd posted it, I thought to myself that I hope you don't take it the wrong way. =)
Take care,
-----
