I did a bad thing......

feeniee Jan 09, 2007 01:58 PM

I smashed Venus's tail in the door of her cage It's not broken or anything and she is moving it just fine, but dang the guilt is killing me!! I've never done that before. I had just started to shut the door and she hissed and jumped off her branch before I knew what happened. Now when I walk past her cage she hides from me I'm off to buy to buy some I'm sorry butterworms

don't feel too bad. The reason Luna was missing 1/3 of her tail was b/c her (and Stitch's) first "mom" -you know who - caught it in a cage door when she was a hatchling and it fell off!!!! :-O

I am sure the butterworms will work just fine

I know how you feel. When we got Pudge from the pet store in Fresno, the put her in a little plastic container. She was so tiny! I accidently closed the lid with the tip of her tail hanging out (OUCH)! Rylie kept saying that she was awfully squirmy...we figured out the problem several minutes later. She lost the tip...but never hampered her!

I was always amazed at the strength Luna had in her stump! Check out the photos in this album (sorry, not uploaded to KS and do not think they will link to here directly) and you can see some of her
hanging from just one foot and her stubby tail! Well, she was cheating a little, if you look closely you can see she had and "armpit" resting on a scheff stem - lol! She looks dead or sick but she was just being Luna (bittersweet memories as I am sure with your little pudge )
