To all my friends on the forum......

I just want to take a moment to say I value our conversations and all the info we've shared. I was just responding to Mike and have been asking him for some details on his breeding plans. I thought to myself, I wish I had known y'all many years back when I was just starting and had little to no idea what I was doing. I do realise I still know little about what I am doing but I'm still doing it.

Thank you all for making this forum the great place it is!!

Sappy huh? Here's some pics to make up for it:

Thanks to everyone here I was able to get the information I needed, as well as a lot of advice last year when I started breeding.
Since then I have acquired two more females and a little bit more knowledge of how things are done as well as a dose of patience to use while waiting for those babies I thought would never come.
A toast to all the forum contributers, especially you Dave and Jeff!
Thanks!

....for the kind post. I'd also like to thank you(and Jeff and Mike too) for the help you gave me with my CRB. I still worry alot about him/her, but I guess it's just those "first time jitters" one gets when one gets a new herp, as well as the fact that I can be a huge worry wort.

Dave,

Feeling is mutual. I've learned a ton since I've been visiting this forum. I've also noticed that this forum is WAY better than the other forums I've visited here on K.S. Some peeps just don't like newbies and treat them as such. People in other forums are just totally commited to making money in the herp world and loose site of what got them into it in the first place. I'm not saying I don't want to make money some day breeding snakes but I just think some people turn it into nothing but a money thing and I think that ruins it and hurts the animals. Cool pics as usual..

Dave,
...You are a big part of what makes this such a good forum. When I see breeders on the other forums having silly fights with each other they make the forums less friendly and informative. They also must surely be alienating potential customers which to me seems very stupid. The Boa forum which used to be my favorite forum on kingsnake (before there was a Rainbow Boa forum) has far too many pointless arguements and people who do not know what they are talking about posting bad information.
Jeff

I too have seen some of the bickering, misinformation and just plain rudeness on the other forums. Definately counter-productive. I simply wanted everyone to know I really like the way this forum is, more like a group of extended friends than just strangers.

Dave I would like to tell you thank you. Your collection is absolutely incredible (brb's and bci). I cannot tell you how often I go to your website and look at your collection, it is unbelievable to say the least. The anery's are hot (both sets) and there are Amber and Phoenix. I do not care for the bright oranges but rather the reds but everytime I see Phoenix, this rule goes out the window faster than before. The next couple of years you are going to have unbelievable litters quality wise, you make me jealous. Thanks for posting lots and lots of pics for us to look at. The photo gallery sucks on ks so where do you upload from? My pictures got to many bites that bite, haha.

I know how you feel, I look at them and drool all the time. I feel very fortunate to have the collection I do. I honestly am so looking forward to the next two years, soo much going on and the possibility of my hobby possibly becoming my second career....WOW!!!

Most of those pics are hosted on my website. The rest are on KS
