If you're really bored, 220 pics to view

rainbowsrus Jan 09, 2007 06:18 PM

I was checking and cleaning out my pic link database. Erasing those links that are no longer valid for whatever reason and when all was said and done, phew, there are still 220 pics in there. Everything from birth to cages to dimmer switches.

Dave,
...I liked the bright orange ones best. My favorite snakes are bright orange normal BRBs.

That was the biggest pic post ever! I noticed you have a water bowl on top of a hide box in one of the cages. I was just thinking of doing this to give my BRB more floor space. I don't have heat under the water bowl so it doesn't contribute much to the humidity. Any reason not to do this?
Here's my Lucy:

whenever I post a pic up on my website or onto KS I copy the URL (and add posting tags) into a spreadsheet. That way I can copy paste a photo with tags to add to any post.

I like the bowls on top, I feel it does add floor space, kind of a penthouse bathtub With my cage, it even reduced the number/amount of spills. The bowl can't tip over unless the ide is moved all the way to the side and the bowl is pushed the other way. Even then with the non flat sided bowl, most of the water stays in. VERY rare for them ti tip anything and only during breeding season.

Very neat. I just put my BRB's waterbowl on top of her hide box and she is immediately taking advantage of the extra floor space. If only my waterbowl fit as well as yours do. Maybe I will buy a new one! I think I have the same plastic hidebox as you. The lip around the top makes my metal bowl sit funny...

I had to special order those "fish" bowls thrpough my local pet store. Also had to order them 6 at a time (full case) not a big deal for me since I need so many. I really do like the glass bowls, IMO easy to clean and to know when dirty.
