Mixing Them Together

z3speed4me Jan 09, 2007 09:27 PM

This might be a stupid question...but can i mix frogs (tree and chubby) with snakes (jungle carpet or green tree) in the same enclosure and NOT have the snakes eat the frogs??? Will they eat them, or will they just naturally attack them bc they are in the snakes "space" and eat them? I would really like to have them together i think it would look cool, but i dont think it will naturally work....

just wondering

I wouldn't suggest it for the simple reason, a snakes natural instinct is to eat when it's available. Housing the frogs in with the snakes whether it's part of their natural food chain or not, it's a readily available food source. The snake may decide that frog legs looks good on the menu that day.
