i built my own cage out of 1/4 inch acrylic. the frameless hinged door measures 18inches by 18 inches. the problem is that the two corners where there are no hinges are kind of bending.. it gets worse by the day. why is this happening? help!

Check out the bottom cage in the pic.Basically you have two options, either build a frame or go nuts like i did on locks and magnetic catches hehe

It could be warping from humidity. Thats what happened with my tank.

Hello,
It is definately bowing because of humidity. A good and simple fix is to get, what I call twisties, from your local hardware store. They are also call half turns. Ask for the nylon ones. Install them on the cage where the windows are bowing and then when you shut the door simply twist the half turns over the window. This not only will keep it from bowing it will also make the cage more secure.
