Egg crates for no substrate method?

ronin1360 Jan 10, 2007 09:29 AM

I was just wondering where you can find fluorescent lenses (egg crates)? Also, should I get it cut ahead of time or is it possible to cut this material at home? I just had a couple girls ovulate and I'm trying to get my incubator set up ASAP so any help would be great!

Any home center will have it. You don't really cut it. You pretty much just break it into the size you need.

Yeah...Lowes, Home Depot, etc. in the lighting section. I just use side cutter pliers to snip it into size. Heavy sheers or utility scissors will work fine as well...
