Hypo Lavender and het clutch

these guys just hatched out. 2 were dead in the shell. These Lavenders are a little harder then I expected. Thanks. Mike Panichi

Last year my Lav female laid a bunch of grape sized eggs but I got 5 decent babies. This year I used a different male, still got grape eggs and only got one live baby Lav. Hopefully the hets I've got held back will be better producers.

I know what you mean. My lav het hypo x hypo lav pairing this year yielded 10 eggs that were a little bigger than grape-sized. They have yet to hatch and are already a week late. Not worried about being late, though, since everything else this year has been 1-2 weeks late. Can't wait to see what happens.
