My mice haven't been breeding for the last couple of months. Can this be due to the weather. I keep them in a shed and temps have been getting down to the mid 20s at night.

I think it might be a tad too cold for them. I believe that mice, like rabbits, can reabsorb their litters in times of stress or need for the pregnant mother. The mice are probably too cold and the mom is reabsorbing the fetuses to use as power for heat. I bet if you kept them even at 50 F you'd see some fairly positive results. Optimally though I think you should keep them at 60 F. That'd be best for the hairless babies.
My room as been down in the teens and twenties no problems here. I just make sure all the fans are off. GOOD LUCK

I kept mine in the low 60's and high 50's and had no success. When i moved them in to the house in the 70's they went nuts! However, i know people that live in my town that keep theirs outside and have great production. I think it has to do with whether or not it is drafty and moist- if it is cold and dry without breezes or wind chill it seems they do o.k.
