Let me set this up. 2 female Westerns go on a 4 mths fast over the summer. Both finally start eating in September. A male received at the same time as the girls eats the entire time. (yeah Jim these are yours
) So while cleaning cages in November, I put the male in with one of the girls so I can give the cage a good scrubbing, and lo and behold, this!!

I thought nothing of it, because of it being SO off season. I did not cool the girls because of the long fast. Just kept feeding them once a week. Well, to my complete surprise, I found this yesterday!!

6 beautiful eggs, one maybe, and one slug. Now mama is a healthy girl, weighing 254g after laying yesterday.
So, how wierd is this for their season to be messed up like this, or is it fairly common??
