Kinky must be 9 years old if not older now. He's a sweety, many of you ole timers remember our old buddy Don C( lived on a cool farm) 
who rescued a group of yellowheads that had many calcium problems.
He sent me one to work with that was about 5 years old then, and had an extremely KINKY tail and some back leg issues. Well I named him yep, Kinky, and he's still kickin around I have had him for 4 to 5 years myself.
He's got rickety back legs, not as husky as he was in his younger days, and his color is not as vibrant, but still very pretty, Other than that he's GOOD TO GO ! 
So if all goes well you guys will have your pets a good long time.
