I have a normal female leopard gecko (my first). When I bought her from the breeder the middle of August, she weighed 7 grams; I was told she was about 6 weeks old at that time, so she was hatched around the first of July. By my math, then, she's about 7 months old. So far, so good. Here's the question: last week she weighed in at 51 grams. Here's the complete record, for what its worth:
8/19/06 - 7 grams
8/28 - 10 gr
9/4 - 14 gr
9/11 - 17gr
9/27 - 23 gr
10/11 - 27 gr
11/9 - 37 gr
11/20 - 40 gr
1/4 - 51 gr
From what I read, this is quite heavy for 7 months. Any thoughts?
