I recently purchased the male as a giant het eclipse. I mainly got him because he's a giant (11 inches and 93g at 8 months old) and thought that leos can't be het for eclipse (what i've been told). Since then I've been surfing the net looking at pics and info on eclipses and found out the Ron Tremper has het eclipses for sale and that they all show the same traits: lines of spots going the full length of the body, strange "split" carrot tails, very yellow body coloring and varying degrees of white feet, lips, and nose. EXACTLY like this guy. So I guess my question is do you think he really is a het? I'm still very sketchy on the eclipse morph anyway as there's barely any info on it so if someone could explain it in greater detail i'd greatly appriciate it. Are het's for eclipse visual hets? like het granite burmese pythons (very obvious scrambled pattern) or the het red pastel ball pythons (the ones produced by corey woods that are always a weird looking black back) oh, and if anyone is wondering, he got in a fight before I got him with another male which is where he got that nasty scar on his tail.

I have heard many people say that you cannot get het Eclipses. Ive seen het R.A.P.T.O.R`s.So I assume since Eclipse`s are the homo form of R.A.P.T.O.R.I think that you could get het eclipses and a matter of fact,I have seen het eclipses.But I guess its just your gut feeling.I assume there would be atleast minimal information on that type of debate. I can try to look up info for you.
Is't a ECLIPSE the non albino form of the RAPTOR ? and if you can get het RAPTOR wouldn't it be right to assume that you can get het ECLIPSE.I was told the the Ruby eye,Eclipse,&Eclipse was a recessive Gene but not sure though.What is the result of breeding a RAPTOR X RAPTOR = ???? is it RAPTOR's or dosen't it work like that ??.
