He sells them at some herp shows from what I am told. Other than that, you can check classifieds to see if people are selling used panels. This happens some times but is rare. Typically, you may find them listed if the person is selling a cage with the panel already installed or the person is getting out of the herp hobby. Considering the quality of the product, few people part with them if there is a chance they may need them in the future.

If you are looking for other distributors, forget it. Some cage manufacturers buy large quantities for their cages. Although you may find one who will sell you just the panel, I doubt the price will be lower than if you purchased it directly.

Send them an email. They need to know size of cage and venting ambient room temps in snake room. And than they steer you towards the right product.

I have 16 of them and went back and forth a few times via email before they had all the info they needed to recommend the appropriate panel. They need info like cage dimensions, desired temps, ambient room temps, cage materials...... thay factor all tose together to come up with the right size and wattage panel for you.

They are expensive but with their help, you should not end up with the wrong panel and therefore only buy it once.

BTW, the heat panels work great to maintain my temps, very soft heating, can even touch them and not really notice the heat.

I'll echo what the others are saying.

I've been using PP's radiant heat panels since the early 90s and not one had gone bad. I have them in different sizes for different size cages, ranging from 6x12 to 12 x 24. I also have an 18 x 24 model.

You should send PP an e-mail and include your phone number, or give them a call and leave your number.

Bob at PP will want to know all the details and will make sure you get the proper size panel for your setup. He'll also tell you where to mount it (they're designed to be mounted on the inside cage ceiling, but he'll tell you the distance from cage walls, etc.

PP is top notch.

I, too, advise that the average purchaser contact Bob at Pro Products to purchase radiant heat panels for reptile cages. I bought 20 of them from Bob over 4 years ago, and have been very satisfied with their operation.

I have just assumed that these are Enerjoy heat panels which he specs out and has private labeled (well, metaphorically speaking, since there are no labels on the panels I got). This is pure SPECULATION on my part, however, because I never asked him, nor have I ever really pursued it further since I did my initial research prior to buying the panels I mentioned above.

If Bob or anyone else cares to chime in, I'd be interested. But again, most buyers can benefit from the individualized service he offers.
