Hi Robyn,
this is off topic But I know you frequent here and was hoping for some help. I recently got into a debate of how often I should be feeding my blood python who is not even 1 year old yet. I read your article in reptiles mag (great article by the way) and you said what I have been doing. feeding appropriate size rats every week. Someone said that it should only be every other week because the brain and vital organs are not able to grow and devolp at the rate the snake is growing because of my feeding schedule. Is any of this true? here is a current pic. Feeding now on sm rats.
Sorrry to interupt the monitor forum, I also own monitors and enjoy reading everyones input on the forum.
Thanks,
Nick

that animal looks nice and healthy. feed once a week, no problem with that. just as with monitors, it is not crippled by the animals limitations, but more so with the limitations of keeper and setup. i don't feed huge meals to bloods every week, but regular sized meals, absolutely : )
