Hernando County, FL: It was quite a surprise Monday for a Florida couple after they found an alligator in their backyard swimming pool. It seems the medium-sized gator had grown tired of murky swamp water and decided to take up residence in cleaner water at a pool in Hernando County north of Tampa.
After watching the reptile make a few laps, a trapper was called in to end his fun. The alligator however had no plans on leaving his new home, fighting to break free of the trapper's noose.
He eventually lost his fight for freedom bringing his chlorinated-dip to an end.
