Fast becoming my fave!

RavenSkyfire Jan 12, 2007 10:48 PM

I think Kingsnakes are fast becoming my favorite snakes! This MBK that I got from Tom is just awesome! Sometimes I see him in his tank and he doesn't look quite real. He's got a great personality, has never tried to bite, tail rattle or anything! He'll even eat out of my hands! Actually, he doesn't seem to like eating like my corns do(I put mousie in feeding tub, add snake and they take it from there). Damien has to have hisself wrapped around my hand when he eats dinner. Or maybe it's just me spoiling him. Anyways, I think it's cool(until the first time he gets over eager and gets my thumb instead). He's also out and about in his tank more than the corns are.

Thanks again Tom!!! I am a Kingsnake convert because of you!!!!

If you do go for a MBK I'd recommend that you atleast talk to NokturnalTom about his snakes. I can't say enough good things about the snake that I got from him! Here's a picture of Damien taken probably about an hour after he had arrived.

And here's one I took after I got him home. He paused for a second.

Hey Manda, Are you sure your in Seattle? From Damien's bottom pic, outside looked too dry, I couldn't see any rain...LOL j/k

Ya gotta quit telling everybody about Tom, the poor guy is gonna run out of snakes...LMAO...but I agree with you 100%, he's pleasure to deal with.

RFLMAO.. I looked AGAIN at Damien's pic...First time I thought I saw a snake in a cage, sitting in front of a window showing a background with a lawn and poolside or a parking lot...Last time I saw a rug and coffee table with mail on the edge...LOL... I gotta quite banging my head on the desk when I do something stupid on the computer, it's affectiing my conception (and starting to hurt)...LOL

But I was right about Tom, he's a great guy...LOL...(trying to save what little dignity I have left).

Actually, his tank is sitting on top of a medical teminology book that has a green cover and the grey that you see is part of a paper organizer printer thingy. The white is a computer desk that serves as a snake desk now! And yes, hitting your head on your desk really does hurt, so stop it already!!! LOL
