Hey yah i noticed a difference in the pics. Also i went to your site and was looing around then i seen the unproven male at the bottom of your collection page I have a female that is very simular i bought her at a local pet store and they said she was a cb but i knew they where lieing because she has some serious scaring. They also told me she was a he and a few weeks later he laid eggs lol. They really had no idea what was going on and i have no idea whats going on with these snakes yu and i have. My camera is broke but i will look for a pic of her to compare. What do you think it is?
Thanks.
Aside from the odd coloration, my wildcaught male also has gold triangles in his eyes. He also has a clear belly and a mustache, with double white dots on his nose. The black speckles on his side fade into blurs of grey. Can't wait to see pics of her. I have bred my male to one female normal this year and I think she took. I hope that he is a new morph, but only time will tell.
It is such a cool feeling when you prove out a new morph. Me and a friend of mine proved out a new line of axanthics from a wild caught male that I bought a few years back. The baby axanthic was nearly neon purple at birth. Sut has turned to a shade of grey but her white has a bluish tint to it still, a year later.
I have several wild caught females that are very different that I hope prove out to be morphs, but they are only about a year old right now. I guess they are only normals until proven different, but that is part of the fun isn't it?

Yah i wish i knew where to get some wc's i wouldnt mind picking out a few and trying to prove them out. This girl looks more like a grown axanthic i think than anything else i have seen. I cant find any really good pics of her but i have a few on my kingsnake album that are taken with a crappy camera. I higly doubt she is anything special because i have crap luck but if i could prove her out it would be great especiallt seeing how she is getting it on with my het albino right now. Here is a old pic probly about 4 years old (the pic). (She is the bigger of the two the other is my first bp that is no longer with us).
Here is a pic from a better camera. She is a strange girl in the first pic she is fresh off of a shed and the camera is poo but she deffinatly looks "somewhat" axanthic after a frsh shed this pic is more recent and she should be sheeding anyday now so if i can get my hands on a camera i will snap a pic or 12. This second pic is her breeding my 04 het albino male from RDR. Her color looks normal well somehwat we will see after her shed

Looks Good !! Good luck on your projects !! Never give up hopes that she may be an axanthic untill proven not !! Congrats on the breeding !!
Thank you and good luck to you and all your clutches (and everyone else on kingsnake for that matter).
This one looked a little better and was closer so you could get a good comparison. I been told by a few people she looks like a grown axanthic (which is what i though) and by a few that she looks like a dark normal i really wouldnt know because i never seen a full grown axanthic in person and ivs only seen a few pics on the net. What do you all think?

Its possable she is. It does not look like she has any yellow pigment on her from here !!If she were mine I would buy a male Axanthic and breed her to him and see next season. The worst that you would get is 100% het for Axanthics !!I would also keep all the females that she makes from this years clutch and breed them to both males when the females get big enough to breed !!Its a fun and long game but WAY worth the wait !!

Only problem is what line of axanthic is it since they don't seem to be compatible. Jolliff, VPI and SK anyway right?

She looks cool, good luck proving her out. Below is my white pastel wich I think will prove out to be an axanthic pastel. Was produced from a pastel to a normal and the breeder was selling it as a white pastel. I intend to prove it out.
The group shot shows his contrast next to the spider lesser and normal pastels.
Ignore the dates on my pics, camera is screwed up and can't figure out how to change that.
